Issue three of The Secret World is going live tomorrow (!)

The next content update is going live in The Secret World tomorrow, and we know absolutely nothing about it save the somewhat evocative name, Issue 3: The Cat God.  Presumably it has something to do with Bastet.  Apart from that who knows?  Secret World indeed...

I'm a bit amazed the update is coming so soon, since we just got rocket launchers what seems like a a week ago.  Hopefully this means that Funcom is actually going to be able to deliver on their promised once a month content update schedule.   I expect to post an impressed or underwhelmed impression of the update later this week.

  2. Yeah, I'm still enjoying it quite a bit. The game isn't for everyone, but it scratches some itches in terms of setting and mechanics no other MMO I've played more than touches on.

  3. I'm very impressed that they are back on track. I am going to have loads to do in TSW once I'm back into the game. Though, I guess this was their "Halloween" issue, and since they'd been promising great stuff for it for weeks, I'm guessing they may have had it all ready even before Issue 2.

    1. Based on the setting, if any MMO should be expected to have a kickass set of Halloween events it would be TSW. I'm glad to see them stepping up to the plate.

  4. My guess is that they have a few teams working in parallel with the issues and issue #3 team were still on track when #2 was delayed.

Will be fun to check out :)

    1. Oddly enough, one on the main new missions is in a zone I just got to (City of the Sun God). Don't know if I can do it at QL 8, but I will try it if I stumble on it.

  5. Starting Oct. 8, Knights of Mercy is going to have weekly TSW nights on Mondays! A bunch of us still want to play TSW, but aren't finding that we're ever on at the same time, and as you know the game is so much more fun with people. Anyway, thought I'd give you a heads up :)

    1. Excellent. I suck nards at grouping there since I've barely done it, but I'll try to show up :-)

    2. Don't have to group if you don't want to or need to, it's more just a weekly social guild opportunity, giving us all a chance to get our fill of the game and have others around to share the experience. Or if you need help with anything just give a holler :)

  6. Greetings from MMORaid.com, a not-so-new MMO social gaming news site. We launched about a year ago and since then have been working hard to create an all encompassing MMO information site.

In our first year we've had over 11,000 articles submitted with over 4,000 members registering to our site. With our latest site update we are now ready to re-introduce the MMO community to MMORaid.com.

That being said, I'm interested in purchasing a sponsored article on your site that would include 1-2 links back to our site. If you're interested please let me know what you would charge for such an article.

If you happen to not do sponsored articles, please let me know if you offer any other form of advertising and your prices. Thank you and I look forward to your response.
